CrossRoads Community Church
BRINGING CHRIST'S COMPASSION TO PEOPLE AT THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE!

Long Term Dream

Our long-term “picture” of the future is has both “how” and “what” aspects.  The “how” describes the kind of atmosphere we believe God wants to permeate our community.  The “what” describes the ministry impact we believe God would have us pursue.

The atmosphere of ministry will be aligned with our core values.  We emphasize that we will be a welcoming, loving, and encouraging community.  People who come for the first time or who have come since CrossRoads’ inception, will find genuine acceptance.  Facilities will be upgraded to make worship as convenient as possible for all who want to attend.  We will be a place where diverse generations, family backgrounds, and occupations are valued and come to experience genuine community in Christ.  We will be structured simply but effectively, seeking to help people flourish in ministry according to their gifts and passion.

What we will become must be determined by God.  However, we will strive to fulfill our full redemptive potential in our geographic area.  Within a 10 mile radius of our facilities there are greater than 30000 people.  We believe that with our location, the gifts God has provided for us in the past and His continued blessing we will be a church of over 800 attending weekend services.  We will continue to serve the community through programs such as the after school program for Middle School students, Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS), and seek to develop new services such as special need support groups, vocational and job skill training, parent support and training, as well as relief for the economically disadvantaged.  We will provide training in personal discipleship, bible and theology, ministry skills and leadership.  We will provide tools and resources for followers of Christ to take the next step in their faith journey.  Believing the Gospel of Christ proclaimed by His Church is the hope of the world we will discover, train, send and support those called to serve build God’s church outside of our area for both temporary and long-term assignments.
