BRINGING CHRIST'S COMPASSION TO PEOPLE AT THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE!

Curriculum

The Promiseland curriculum has many features and benefits for kids, staff, volunteers, and parents! We implement the curriculum with a “gift-based,” team-led approach where volunteers serve in roles that match their God-given talents and abilities.

The curriculum is field-tested, relevant, child-targeted & developed with the specific age groups in mind.  And . . . Promiseland is fun!  It provides games, music, and other fun activities to incorporate a creative approach to teach the Bible and apply the Bible to every day life.

While They Are Here

As they enter Promiseland each week, kids are encouraged to participate in the activities that are set up.

At the designated time, all of the children move together into a large group to experience the Bible teaching; and then finally, they are divided into smaller age-specific groups.  These groups allow kids to build relationships with one another and their shepherds/small group leaders, as well as explore the relevant life application of the Bible truth on a more age appropriate level. With children in age related groups, we are able to minister effectively and personally to all children.

Entering Promiseland

Each child must be registered and wear a nametag.  New registrants and visitors are provided a temporary nametag and are asked to complete the registration form.  This is done for the safety of the children.

We ask that parents of children accompany their children to the check-in table.      Children in Nursery through 3rd   grade will be released only to parents at the end of the service from their designated room.  Children in 4th grade will be released at the end of service on their own.  Return the nametags to the nametag bar with your usual group by color.
